Junior - Mid Level Native Android Developer

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Junior - Mid Level Native Android Mobile Developer to join our dynamic

team. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, contribute to innovative solutions, and collaborate with a

team of passionate professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

  • Work alongside product managers, designers, and fellow developers to build and ship high-quality mobile features.

  • Implement features using established architectural patterns (such as MVVM, MVP, or MVC) to ensure the codebase remains clean, maintainable, and reusable.

  • Connect applications to RESTful APIs and integrate third-party libraries to enhance app functionality.

  • Utilize modern Android components including LiveData, Coroutines, and DataBinding to manage background tasks and ensure app responsiveness.

  • Debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance across various Android OS versions and screen sizes.

  • Participate in code reviews, provide and receive constructive feedback, and adhere to team coding standards.

  • Manage code versioning using Git and handle Gradle configurations for dependency management and build optimization.

  • Document features, technical specifications, and workflows to assist with future reference and knowledge sharing.

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of mobile security best practices.

  • Experience with Android Jetpack components and modern UI frameworks.

  • An active portfolio of personal projects in the Google Play Store or contributions to open-source Android projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information

  • Technology, or other related fields.

  • 1-4+ years of professional experience in Android app development.

  • Proven experience as a Native Android Developer with proficiency in Kotlin/Java programming language.

  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

  • Knowledge of various architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and MVC.

  • Experience with code version control systems such as Git.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
