Job Summary:

As a Mid-Level System Analyst and Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our company's computer systems and networks. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the availability, security, and performance of our technology infrastructure. This role involves analyzing system requirements, troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, and providing support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems, business processes, and user requirements to identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancement.

• System Administration: Administer and maintain servers, databases, and network systems to ensure their reliability, security, and optimal performance.

• Software Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain software applications, operating systems, and related components.

• Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, networks, and systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and other security threats.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize system downtime and disruptions to users.

• Documentation: Create and update system documentation, including user guides, manuals, and configuration guides.

• User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with software and hardware problems and conducting user training as needed.

• Backup and Recovery: Implement data backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures.

• Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and services, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation to streamline processes and improve overall system performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in system analysis and administration.

• Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), network protocols, and database management systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus
