Job Description:

As a Backend Developer, you will be an essential part of our engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain backend components of our software applications using cutting-edge technologies.

• API Development: Build robust and efficient RESTful APIs to support our frontend applications and third-party integrations.

• Database Management: Work with databases (e.g., MySQL, NoSQL) to design and optimize data models, ensuring data integrity and performance.

• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, improve system performance, and ensure scalability.

• Security: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities.

• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding standards and best practices.

• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.

• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and debug issues, as well as provide technical support and solutions for production incidents.

• Technology Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer

• Strong proficiency in Laravel (PHP) and Node.js

• Solid understanding of backend application architecture and design, particularly with Laravel

• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs

• Hands-on experience with database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL), including data modeling

• Strong understanding of MySQL fundamentals, including tables, indexes, views, constraints, and relationships

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
